Peace's mood: creative
Compilation: The Lost
Author: Ruth Ryan Langan
Summary: Aidan O'Mara had just finished burying her mother and was landed in debt due to the costly medical fees. And it was the time when she was informed that her mother may be the child of a man called Cullen Glin and not the grandfather she known as Edward Martin. So, due to her curiosity and the promise that her debt will be paid, she went to visit Cullen Glin to find out the truth in Ireland. They exchanged the stories which they know and despite the stories, Aidan still could not believe that her mother would be the child of Cullen, so they went to do a DNA. In the end, she fell in love with Cullen's solicitor, Ross Delaney, who was the beneficiary of Cullen when he died. She tore the result of the DNA as she would not want Ross to not able to inherit Cullen's asset. Thus, nothing matters as long as they were together as a family.
Remark: Yet, another simple and happy story. If you would enjoy this, you would enjoy the second story of the compilation "The Dog Days of Laurie Summer" by Mary Blayney. Compared to the suspense in the first and third stories, this story was simpler in speaking of the importance of love and trust. It would be a joy for one to read and feel the happiness and bitterness which the characters were experiencing. Despite of its simplicity in terms of the plot and characters, it was nevertheless a wonderful production.
